Embracing Autumn - Letting Go

(Virtual)

October 29th (Sunday): 5:00 - 6:30 PM EST

"If you want to fly, you have to give up the things that weigh you down."

- Toni Morrison

Autumn is a beautiful reminder to shed our leaves and let go of what is no longer serving us.  Join me in this workshop for some Reiki Flow & Restore to help us release, let go, and create space for all you are cultivating in your life at this time.  This workshop will be structured like a yoga class, centered around the theme of letting go and releasing.  The first half will consist of a gentle vinyasa flow, where we will be moving through poses that will guide us in letting go and creating space in the body, followed by restorative postures for the second half.  Restorative yoga is a wonderful way to deeply release and open the body in a subtle and supportive way, further letting go and creating space for all you'd like to welcome in.  Students will be receiving distance Reiki during the restorative portion of the workshop.  Reiki is universal energy that encourages healing through relaxation and stress reduction.  During a session Reiki flows from the practitioner's hands to the student, which is typically done through touch or hovering, although distance Reiki is just as effective.

All levels welcome!  Students will be guided to use props to allow for deeper relaxation and openings during the restorative half.  Please have 2-3 pillows (or yoga bolster), 2 blankets, and 2 blocks (if you don't have yoga blocks then thick books or small boxes will work too).

Exchange: Suggested Donation $22

(no one will be turned away for a lack of funds)
